Christmas Open Houses

A few highlights from shops that held holiday open houses in our area last weekend.

I wanted to buy everything, but exercised great self control :)

Fall to Winter decorating...at warp speed

I have a new video up on my channel!

I'm not only sharing with you my filming/blogging schedule for the rest of the year, but you'll also see me transform three spaces in our home.
I've sped up my decorating footage to show how I quickly (even before the editing) was able to transform these fall scenes into winter vignettes!
Watch the magic happen here!

There is a new video up on my channel! Stop by to hear about my most recent purchases, and my holiday decorating plans!

I am excited to find some live greenery and get started making a holiday wreath using the vintage bells above. These photos give me lots of inspirations:

If you're interested in purchasing your own spun cotton pieces there are lots to be found online. Here are some of my favorites. You can click on the images to be taken to the websites.

And if you think you'd like to make a wreath, like the one I'm envisioning, here is a link so some similar bells:

Happy Sunday! I'll be back on Monday to draw a name for my Paperwhite Time Giveaway! PS- it's not to late to enter ;)

Create: Holiday Garland

It's almost that magical time of year again!!  I know Halloween is right around the corner, and Thanksgiving not long after, but I'm a Christmas girl, and I'm starting to get in the spirit already :) I just finished up my first Christmas project, and love the results!

I crafted this "Joy to the World" garland using sheet music I picked up in Irleand, and green vintage streamers. Silver glitter and butters twine finish it off, and make it ready to hang!

I'm also excited to create other words and salutations, as well as gift tags and maybe even larger holiday decorations??!!  I see "thankful", "boo!",  "joyeux noel", and "glad tidings" in my near future. Keep you posted, and happy Sunday!
