Life
Because I've been spending so much time lately thinking about my future and where I'm headed, I've also caught myself considering the things I wish I'd done differently in the past. Do you ever play that game with yourself- the what if game?
If I could go back in time and change one decision in my life, it would have to be my career path. I wish I would have gone into travel journalism and photography. I can imagine a incredibly exciting life full of exquisite places and beautiful images. A passport overflowing with stamps, and notebooks full of travel ephemera.
But instead I have a life full of endless creativity and small business pride. Leisurely vacations with the ones I love, and travel scrapbooks to share with you, my friends. I get to journal about anything my heart desires, and take beautiful images of this wonderful life full of things I did choose for myself and would never dream of changing. It's funny how life works out exactly like it should...
If you could go back and change just one decision you've made in life, what would it be?

You don't look much older than 28 to me, you can change your life whenever you want - sorry if I am off the ball with your age. It's only a number anyway. It seems to me, that you are already a travel photographer, who writes. It's closer than you think. ;)
I have to agree with Louise! It's NEVER too late to make the changes you'd like to make, Boy she got that number dead-on, didn't she?!
LYTTTTTTTT!
What a beautifully well written and thoughtful post, Elizabeth! You are really becoming quite the writer! Also loved the photos of home! You made that monkey bread look way more yummier than it actually was!
Oh, don't ask...
