Lots of Updates
Big News: Im a Crafty Bastard Again!! I will be exhibiting my work at Crafty Bastards on September 28th! Im excited to take part in their Adams Morgan show, and hope many of you can make it there! More info to follow.
I have been busy on a wedding commission, and getting my first BIG international order together. The wedding is in England, and my other order is going to Japan. Im going global :)
I am out of town for the weekend, but was able to spend Friday biking with Casey, and exploring historic Harper's Ferry WV. This cute little town is situated right in the middle of Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland. The trail we rode runs parallel to the Potomac River. I hadn't been there in years, and it was great to go back. You can check out some pics on Casey's blog!
This Thursday the Charm City Craft Mafia will be hosting a Biz Ladies Meet Up with Grace from Design*Sponge at the American Visionary Museum in Baltimore. Its free and open to all women involved in running their own businesses. If you are in the area, stop by!

Artscape
I made it through Artscape! somehow. Three days is a REALLY long show. Especially in the middle of July, in the middle of Baltimore, and from 12-10 for 2 days. But all of those complaints aside, I'd say the show was quite successful. I have a good amount of sales, GREAT response to my work, and several wholesale inquiries. Not too bad...
Im not sure I can ever thank Kathy and Casey enough for helping me out all weekend. They were wonderful with customers, helped me plan for the future, and allowed me to take breaks when they could see how grumpy i was becoming. Thank you guys, I couldn't have done it without you! :)
Here are a few photo's I snapped. I will be doing an inventory of all my new work (theres tons!), and posting in my shop this week!
Im off to recover from the weekend!

Black and White
I spent the weekend making the settings for all of my new Artscape work and doing some printing. Here is a shot of the settings on my bench. Next step; hand coloring the lucite and setting them in silver. Only 4 days left, the pressure is on!

Summer Time!
I took a break from Artscape prep to go for a walk with Casey tonight. This is what we found growing all around our neighborhood! They were just too pretty not to photogrpah and share! You can find these Wine Berries growing up and down the east coast. They are a specific kind of raspberry, and very delicious!
More jewelry related updates tomorrow! Have a good weekend!

Hello Again!
Here is a look at my bench, and some of the current projects Im working on. Artscape is right around the corner, and Im nowhere near ready! These castings came back just before Crafty Bastards, and more should be arriving this week. These will be something new, and Im very excited to share the progress with you! Tonight's goal: solder all the findings onto the 30 castings, and get them tumbled. Wish me luck!
This weekend my mom, Anne and I went to the local gem and jewelry show. Always so much fun, and big trouble for the wallet. But this time since a show is upon me, I felt slightly more justified...and boy did i indulge!! You will start to see these beads used in my new work. Included here- pearls, labradorite, citrine, aquamarine, onyx and many more!
And it seems like I have caught the bike bug from my friends Megan, and Annie! Because I am now the proud owner of a brand new Trek bike! Im really excited, and looking forward to some good workouts. Im not gonna lie though...ridding for just an hour last night really took it out of me! We happen to live at the bottom of one BIG hill, that is just impossible to avoid!
