A Solution

If you recall, I was having trouble deciding how I wanted to embellish an old, chippy white, painted window frame that I had hung in my kitchen. I was looking for something simple, vintage, and light colored that could easily be changed with my evolving tastes.
After doing my post last week featuring all of the new treasures I had picked up at the market, it occurred to me that the french book pages would fit the panes perfectly. I thought I'd give it a try. I used tiny balls of that stretch, sticky putty in each of the corners of the page to be sure I wasn't damaging these beautiful pieces of ephemera. Once I had two sheets hung in the panes I knew it was the perfect solution!
I absolutely love the end result! I catch myself stopping to study the pages often, and I'm thrilled that the pages are getting so much attention.
