Love: The Internet
Hello Again! It's been so long since I've gotten to blog, and I've really missed it! Just when I was on a roll with regular blogging the move happened, and we've been without internet for a week. Ughhhh!!!! I really do love to un-plug from technology every once in a while. But a week is pushing it! I feel like I've missed so much in the blogosphere.
As far as the move goes- it's truly NEVER ENDING! I don't know how I acquired so many things. The boxes aren't getting unpacked as quickly as I'd like, since I run out of energy by 11 every night. I'm hopeful that in another week we will be comfortably settling in. Oh, and I'm also excited to show you before-and-after photos.
I did take some time today to clean up my blog settings a bit. It's now possible to "follow" me by clicking the link on the right side of the screen. You'll never have to miss any of my posts again! Pheewh! And I also added a "wish list" list as well. There are always certain things I'm keeping my eye out for- sometimes they are for crafting, sometimes for decorating, or sometimes just to collect. I'm keeping the list short for now, but I'll continue to add to it, and remove things. If you happen to know where I can get something on my list, please feel free to send me links/emails/info. I'd love to chat :)
Hope you all have a great weekend! I've missed you!

Vintage: Vintage French Interiors
If you're a book lover, as I am, I have to recommend this truly beautiful, inspiring, informative book:
Vintage French Interiors
Inspiration From the Antique Shops and Flea Markets of France.
Although the book has a publication date of 2008, yesterday was the first time I'd seen it. I picked my copy up from Anthroplogie, but I'm sure it could be ordered online. The author, Sebastien Siraudeau shares with his readers all of the best places to shop throughout France, and accompanies all of his suggestions with the most breath taking photos. Below are just a few.
And it's official- I'm already plotting my next trip to France :)
Speaking of lovely decor and beautiful displays, check out these photos of the apartment:
We're down to 6 days before the big move and I can't wait to be settled in the new house! I have so much more packing to do, but have run out of momentum. Sunday is almost gone, which means I am going to have one busy week coming up- C'est la vie. I've been pouring over magazines and books (like the one above) for new decorating ideas to use in the new house- which is only making me more anxious!
Be sure to check back soon for another give away- I'm hoping some of you will take some things off my hands and make moving a little easier ;)

Vintage: Shopping
After an extended time away, Mom and I headed the the antique shops bright and early Sunday morning. It takes a lot to get me up and going early in the morning, not to mention before the sun comes up- but these antique shops are so worth it!
I had to stop half way through my drive to Pennsylvania to take a few photos of the sun popping up over the ridge. The way it shown through the trees was so beautiful, and I felt like I was the only lucky person for miles who got to witness such a lovely, peaceful view.
This sign was another beautiful view. I may have even heard an angel singing...
One of the items on my keep-an-eye-out list for this trip were sweet little tea cups and saucers. I have a good plan for them, and I'll be sharing it with you shortly. Luckily, I found a handful of cute-patterned sets, and I was happy to use one in my mini photo shoot tonight.
Chocolate chip cookies make Monday's so much better :) I highly recommend them!
