The Holidays are right around the corner...and I am really excited!!

I'm putting together a small holiday line that will be available in my shop this week. Here is the first piece.

After a relatively calm week at home, I'm looking forward to a hoping weekend!

Activities include an exciting night out tonight for Annies Birthday, shopping and the lantern parade tomorrow, and finally yoga and more jewelry work on Sunday! Hope you all have a great weekend too!

You may have noticed my new obsession with peacocks. Im currently loving all things peacock related, and im seeing the pop up more and more lately! Yay.

In honor of my few favorite theme im having a contest!!!!

And I am happy to announce (actually ecstatic!!!) that i will be participating in the Philly Buyers Market of America Craft this February. I got the news yesterday, and have been bouncing off the walls ever since. Ive started making new lists, and thinking of all the things i need to do. Catalogs, hotel rooms, lighting, postcards, display.... the list goes on and on. And like always...Im enjoying every second of it!

And dont forget to watch the VP debate tonight. Im really looking forward too it, and think it should be very interesting and telling of our country's future. Def tune in!!! I promise not to push my political views on you too much.... but let me just get this out there....

I have given myself a little break since the show and have been just been relaxing and catching up on things around the house. One creative thing I have been doing is knitting! I knit a scarf for my dad when i was little, but since then i havent done a thing. Then i found this how-too video on youtube, and it inspired me to try it again. I havent gotten very far, and im just making another basic scarf, but its way fun, and I look forward to more projects. I bought this book at borders last night, and this one may be next! It is filled with cool projects to felt. I plan on included a cool lucite button on this one when im done!
