Be Mine + #1 and #2
I just finished these pieces in honor of Valentines day, which is fast approaching! I knew I wanted to do some sort of heart, but couldn't bring myself to make a traditional, cute heart. I THINK i like how these turned out... These two hearts will be available on etsy today, just in time to give to your valentine ;) These are also the first two pieces I have completed from the little 30 in 30 challenge i gave myself. I plan to finish about 8 more pieces tonight. I will say that this next batch of pieces will include many new images and shapes. Wait and see....!!
If you take a closer look at the Red heart I just made, you will see one of the new design aspects i will be adding to some of my work now. I know its kinda hard to see..but its a tube set faceted stone that has been set into the lucite. What do you think???

Challenge!!
Annie from Imogine inspires me in more ways than one, and this month, I am definitely going to follow her lead. Like she mentioned in her blog earlier today, I am also going to give myself a little challenge this month. Although I dont think i can complete an entire piece every day like Annie will be, i am going try to complete 30 pieces in 30 days!
This is going to be quite a challenge for me, but it sounds like fun and ive gotta try it! I plan on posting every weekend with the latest batch of work coming out of the studio! Keep an eye out for it, and wish me luck!! Im going to set a February 23rd deadline for myself.

Something New...
FINALLY back in the studio!!
Here is an image of something new i have working on! An unoxidized version should be set by tonight, but i just couldn't wait to share these images with you. It was definitely a test of my patience, but it certainly paid off, and i cant wait to make more! Im particularly fond of the modern and contemporary style combination.

Im Back!!
Its been a crazy month to say the least, im hoping to finally be getting back into the swing of things. HOPING at least!
Christmas and New Years were fabulous! Hectic and fast, but fabulous none the less! Our trip to New York was great, and we have just finished moving my new roommate in ;) Life is Good!

This was one of my favorite Christmas presents i received this year. A beautiful painting from my aunt, Marty Barrick. I LOVE everything about this painting, its just beautiful and im so happy to have a piece of my aunt's work. Thanks Aunt Marty!!
